That just seems like common courtesy! If you’re going to do that, take up someone’s time so much, then you really should buy the book.

I feel a little guilty being in a small store for a long time without buying anything!

Thanks so much, especially for the bit about the big chains would order from the small presses info and how many books you should actually have on your table at the signing. I was especially wondering about how the ordering worked too. Muchly appreciated.

I went to a signing where there were 8-10 local NC authors at it. I went for a couple of them but I ended up buying a book from each author and did a giveaway on my blog with them. I was up front on never having read several of them but I still bought the books and let them know it was for a blog giveaway.
