That was so fun! I love so many of ths songs you guys mentioned.
‘True Colors”. (sniffles) Awww, memories of many a school dance.
I must say I was surprised Megan liked Lionle Richie. Was not expecting that.
I so love ‘Where I Stood’ but I can’t remember who sings it right now.
I need music to write or at least some kind of background noise like the T.V but I prefer to write to music. Different stories have different soundtracks. Like this one I’m working on now is a sort of supernatural/apocalyptic thriller so I’m listening to a lot of Evanescence.
If I had to pick a favorite song it would probably be ‘In Your Eyes’ by Peter Gabriel.
I love this! The local radio station I listen to has recently started doing playlists for different types of lists…like “I hate you songs” “Come back to me songs” etc…two DJs will each make a list of 10 songs and then the listeners will vote on who had the best playlist of songs and I love writing them down and getting on iTunes later that day and hunting the songs I don’t have.
Have the Higgins song….looks like my oldest beat me to it in getting it. Have heard it before but kept forgetting to check iTunes for it. Good to know she’s one step ahead of me in this one. lol
Tez – the Excalibur song is called Oh Fortuna and it’s from Carmina Burana. Last year at RT, there was a guy who would come down to the bar EVERY NIGHT and play the opening of Don’t Stop Believin’ on the piano.
