Muchly awesome post! The part about the kid’s interrupting was hysterical.
And yes, I think there’s the assumption, wrong assumption usually, that everything erotic writers write about, we do.
Um, not so much.
And I swear, I could write I scene where one character chops off another’s limbs and there’s blood gushing everywhere (gushing, frothing, squirting…) and no one bats an eye, but as soon as they even see the word ‘cock’ they look at you like, how can you write THAT?
I mean, dude!
Hope lauren is feeling better and hunky doctor healed her well…not Dr. Kinky.
Oh sweet baby jeebus. I go to a friend’s tonight for a knitting club activity and, damn, if something we were discussing after everyone else had left hit every single fricking point you guys made here. I am still pounding my head against the desk with the idiocy of this author-type person who inflicted herself on my friend. Of course, I’m hyped up on chocolate and can’t go to sleep at the moment, so I keep digging up more stupid stuff. It’s like watching a train wreck.
Anyway, great, and surprisingly timely, commentary
