1	I swear i will never take a glamour shot (whatever that is) or any other inappropriote shot for my author photo. (i REALLY want that t-shirt!!) Oh my Jeezits! Some of those early shots of Megan especially are practicallly unrecognizable! I mean, in that one early Lauren shot I could at least tell it’s her but Megan, oy vey!

I loved the opening to the post. Very funny.

I’m so very lucky that I was too wee when Glamour Shots first started and I still haven’t done them, thank God.

I think the pic of myself that I use for promo’s and stuff is okay but I do hereby vow to never EVER wear a feather boa or any Glamour Shot derivation thereof as a promo picture!

3	I won’t ever use a glamour shot, I swear. But I am using the headshots I had to get done for my non-fiction book. If anything, I look a tad more formal than I typically do but I don’t think they suck, lol by Maura Anderson November 22nd, 2008 at 6:51 pm

I promise to both of you that I will never take a glamour shot and wear a feather boa for my author shot. I pull up “danehart discuss” everyday to hear any new postings. You both are very informative and refreshing to us aspiring authors. Have I sucked up enough to win the t-shirt yet?

Ok, after days of debating here it is. My friends and i were doing a film when i was in college/starting university. This is me as The Dark Lord(ess) Miss Snugglebunny (no, really, i’m not joking.)

A random professional photographer wondered past while we were filming and took these shots. (again, wish i was kidding)

I promise that I never have nor ever will use Glamour Shots. I always found that place pretty scary.

Now for the picture. please keep in mind that any picture taken of me is the point of view from either a 2 year old or 6 year old.

Also, I promise to never have a glamour shot taken. I hate having my picture taken (and after seeing this you will understand) and I could not imagine paying the price for glamour shots.

I promise to never wear a feather boa and/or chandelier earrings if ever I have a glamor shot taken. I hate getting my picture taken. And in fact the only time in my life I almost got in a physical fight was when I told everyone I didn’t want my picture taken and this little jackass came and took my picture.
Glamor shots are a source of amusement for me – a number of my friends have gone to Asia and had them done. One looks *gorgeous* – and had one made into a wall scroll- and everyone who saw it thought she was some pop star. (She was also in high school.) There was a nice background, dress, everything.
As for pictures, since I hate having mine taken, this is a bit difficult.
Hopefully this goes through – it seems to be a common theme (which is funny because I RARELY drink) – but here’s me… double fisting it:

Ok – so I’ll admit I’m having trouble finding “stupid photos” b/c I… pretty much destroy them as them come along. I tend to avoid photos (I’ll probably climb under a table even to do so). But… here we go – this is back in college and before… though I … don’t think any of the pics are more than 10 years old >.< Gah.
