Bwhahahahha! I have an accent? I ask you, how does one say “about” Aboooot? Or Ahbout? Hm?
LOL, you two had too much fun and I’m with you, Sasha, I love that cover to death.
ahhh, I wanna go to RT! Sadly, it’s not in the cards for me…my oldest graduates next year and I’ll be lucky to be sane around that time as it get closer to the end of the school year. Have fun, ladies!
Oh, oh, about accents….Sasha has one! And it’s adorable, Sasha!
@Megan — my oldest has been begging for a Mac…I haven’t made up my mind yet though….
OMG too funny! I’m with Fatin glad I’ve been pronouncing Megan’s name correctly, I have to work on Sasha’s. I’m from Texas and have been adding the long Saasha.
Ah, I was thinking Sasha sounded Canadian, and I was right!
To my untrained Australian ear, Megan and Lauren both have what I call “standard North American” accents, meaning I can’t identify where exactly you’re from.
I’m not sure what the Boston accent sounds like, so here’s hoping you can convince your Bostonian pals to chat. And your Quebecois friends, because their accents are hot. And South Africans, and Scots and Irish…
I haven’t done a video chat before, though I do have a webcam on my non-Mac…
@Tez Miller: So many accents in the world — I mean, we “all” have accents, really, even if it’s the non-accent.
I can do a pretty good “Pennsylvania Dutch” accent but if you’re not from around here you won’t appreciate it because…unless you’re from around here you’ve probably never heard it.
People in my immediate area have mumble mouths, like they’re talking through stones.
How fun - two of my favorite people! Sasha absolooootely has a Canadian accent. Megan, I don’t think you do, so I suppose I sound the same as you!
My youngest daughter who’s a (fine arts major) freshman at Kent State has a Mac Pro and she’s in love with it. She’s constantly distorting pics of the cats and dog. I told her not to do my face b/c I’m funny looking enough already.
I was enjoying the interview until suddenly I was having a chemical flash-back to the late 70’s, if ya know what I mean. It was like Videodrome…I kept waiting for James Woods to pop up.
I think both y’all have an accent, but so says the native Chicagoan whose Chicago accent gets worse the longer I live away from Chicago. Seriously, when I studied abroad in England, by the time I left I sounded like I had grown up a minute’s walk away from Midway Airport (home of Da Superfans accent known the world ’round). I think because I’m still living in the States, the accent hasn’t gotten *that* bad. And Sasha, you totally say “aboot”. When we met in Atlanta (I was going under my real name then ), I could tell within seconds you’re Canadian
What a fun interview and I do think that Sasha has a bit of an accent…sorry, I know I was supposed to say Megan.
Sasha~ I am also a 69 baby…my birthday is 4*20*69…nothing like a little sex and drugs.
I absolutely love the cover to My Prerogative…it is definitely eye catching!
*waves to Kelley*
LOL I have no problems having an accent I just don’t think I do the Aboot thing. Thats more of an eastern Canada ting, even I hear it when they say it. I live in and have laways lived, in Western Canada. We say “eh?” a lot. LOL

by Lauren September 4th, 2008 at 7:13 pm*waving* Hey Sasha! This was a surprise! I loved watching the video.
@ Megan — I’m glad to know I’ve been saying your name right. As for Sasha…I’ll have to practice since I’ve been calling her Saaasha. *G*
