Yeah that’s right. I’ve had to change the title and Outshined is now Laid Bare. I’m editing it right now and sending it out for crit but certain songs keep coming to me as I do. There’s a scene where Erin is in the kitchen of the small cafe she owns and she’s singing to PJ Harvey’s, Fountain…
And in when she’s thinking about what happened to her to make her come back to Seattle, Massive Attack’s, Teardrop…
There are lots of snippets in the books of lyrics, some I wrote, some others wrote. It’s been a fun experience…
Have any of your books kept your working title?
by Mad August 30th, 2008 at 7:53 pm@ Mad – not with my Berkley books and we had to change the original title of Taking Care of Business too. I just accept that it may happe, LOL! With Samhain I’ve kept them all but one though!
